Palestine: Zionist troops raze homesThe Zionist forces accompanied by bulldozers on Monday demolished a Palestinian home near the northern West Bank city of Tulkarm, a local official has said.

"Israeli troops stormed Al-Jaroushiyya village and demolished a two-story house owned by Kefah al-Shouli on the pretext that the building had been built without a permit," local council head Rafaat Ahed told media outlets.

According to Ahed, al-Shouli never received a demolition notice from the occupation authorities.

Al-Jaroushiyya falls within "Area C," which covers nearly two thirds of the West Bank and remains under full Zionist civil and security control as stipulated by the Oslo II Accord, which was signed in 1995 between the occupation entity and the Palestinian Authority.

Palestinians in Area C say the Zionist authorities typically prevent them from erecting structures in the area on grounds that the land falls under entity's administration.
