Two missiles fired by militant groups in Syria exploded in the Beqaa border city, Hermel, causing no casualties.

rockets hit HermelAl-Manar correspondent reported that at 9 in the morning, two missiles landed at the Lebanese territories causing only material damages. The first one hit the main entrance of the city, landing at an under-construction building in which there are mechanic maintenance shops on the ground floor, yet no one was hurt. The other missile landed in an open area.

The reporter also added that the residents consider that such missiles are absurd and cannot change the context of the bordering villages’ battles.

For his part, Loyalty to the Resistance Parliamentary Bloc MP Nawwar Al-Sahili considered that the shelling was an evidence on the weakness and confusion among militant groups in Syria as the Syrian army was defeating them in Al-Qusseir countryside. Al-Sahili considered that the United Nations, the Arab League, and all the countries that support the militants in Syria are all responsible for the targeting of residential areas. He also pointed out that the implied messages that the militants intended to send through these missiles are completely refused. “We are waiting for the implementations of the decisions taken after the meeting that was held by the President and the Commander-in-Chief,” the MP said.
