Public Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi referred to the Central Criminal Investigations Department the acknowledgment submitted to the Public Prosecutor against Nadim Koteich, the speakers’ presenter during the funeral of Martyr Brigade Wissam al-Hasan in downtown Beirut.

Koteich’s words, an al-Mustaqbal party journalist, during the funeral turned the incident into a political protest aiming at toppling the Lebanese government, and led to an attempt to storm the cabinet headquarters.

The referral was in order to conduct the necessary investigations against Koteich.
