"Based on the information obtained from various sources, the full image indicates that criminal provocation in East Ghota has been carried out by private group came from Jordan and worked under the guidance of the Saudis. It was operating under the auspices of 'Banner of Islam' movement," one of the sources told Interfax.

For his part, another source said that "chemical attack in East Ghota on August 21 and the subsequent developments caused boiling in the Syrian society."

"Therefore, the Syrians with different political views, and even some opposition fighters are trying to inform the diplomats and staff of international organizations who continue to work in Syria, with all the information they have regarding this crime and the forces that stood behind them and funded," he added.

Syria was hit by a violent unrest since mid-March 2011, where the Syrian government accuses foreign actors of orchestrating the conflict by supporting the militant opposition groups with arms and money.
