Ansarullah movement said it had not been consulted about the unilateral coalition ceasefire that began at midnight (Sunday 2100 GMT).

Saudi Arabia has repeatedly declared ceasefire in its aggression against Yemen, but it has never respected truce and always kept its airstrikes underway.

Saudi Arabia has been bombing Yemen since March 26 to bring fugitive president Abed-Rabbu Mansour Hadi back to power.

The airstrikes have so far claimed the lives of more than 5,302 civilians, mostly women and children.
