Militant Kills Syrian Soldier, Bites His Heart

A video was posted on the Internet on Sunday of a Syrian militant cutting the heart out of a soldier and biting into.

A video posted on the Internet on Sunday of a foreign-backed militant cutting the heart out of a Syrian soldier and biting into shows the degenerate moral and religious level that the militant groups in Syria have reached.

"I swear to God we will eat your hearts and your livers, you soldiers of Bashar," the man says to off screen cheers of his comrades shouting "Allahu akbar (God is great)".

The video has caused Militant eating heart of Syrian soldieroutrage against military opposition that was launched two years ago and backed by several international, regional and Arab powers.

The military opposition emerged shortly after the Syrian crisis erupted in March 2011, to later turn into armed groups that blindly commit brutal crimes.

Peter Bouckaert of Human Rights Watch said that he had seen an original, unedited copy of the video and that the identity of the militant who committed the crime against the Syrian soldier, Abu Sakkar's, had been confirmed by opposition sources in Homs. His  images appear in other videos wearing the same black jacket as in the latest clip and with the same rings on his fingers.

"The mutilation of the bodies of enemies is a war crime," said Bouckaert.

Human rights campaigners have warned that Syrian opposition fighters are conducting summary killings, using child soldiers, sectarian violence and committing war crimes, cautioning governments about arming the opposition groups.

Shocking images have spread over the different mass media showing child soldiers and horrible crimes that include cutting, roasting heads and other horrible perpetrations.

Civilians have reportedly been killed or injured as a result of armed opposition groups preparing and storing munitions and explosives in residential buildings.
