Turkey blastAt least 13 people were killed, three of them Turkish, and 30 others were wounded when a mini-bus exploded in a garage in Turkey, close to the Syrian borders.

15 vehicles were also set on fire due to the explosion, which concurred with the passage of a convoy for a delegation from the Syrian National Council, which was heading to meet with opposition military leaders in Syria, AFP reported.

The Syrian-registered mini-bus, which was travelling from the direction of Syria, exploded in the buffer zone of the Cilvegozu crossing in the Turkish town of Reyhanli.

Erdogan said, in a speech he delivered in Ankara, that “the blast underscored why Turkey is prioritizing counterterrorism efforts.”

“We will not make concessions on this issue," he added.
