Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces announce arrest of another agent collaborating with Israeli enemy

Lebanon's Internal Security Forces arrested on March 21 another individual suspected of collaborating with the Israeli enemy.

According to a statement issued by the ISF General Directorate, the arrested agent, who was identified a (H.B.), has acknowledged during the investigations of collaborating with the Israeli enemy's intelligence from 2006 until early 2011.

The statement said that the newly-discovered agent has provided the enemy's intelligence with detailed information on the situation in Lebanon and the different sects' relation with Hezbollah and their views on the principle of Resistance.

It noted that the arrested agent has provided the Israeli intelligence with a comprehensive study of the situation in the southern city of Tyre, including its sectarian composition and the residents' ties with Hezbollah, as well as locations of the offices of several MPs and Hezbollah's religious and social institutions.

The statement, meanwhile, highlighted that investigations were still underway with the Israeli agent.
