The Syrian army on Thursday carried out a qualitative operation in cooperation with inhabitants recapturing three neighborhoods in the historic heart of Aleppo from insurgents.

In Homs, the authorities on Wednesday night repelled armed terrorist groups that attacked law enforcement personnel in the area of Jousiyeh in al-Qseir countryside.

SANA reporter in the province quoted a source as saying that “the authorities inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorists killing large numbers of them.”

Meanwhile, Aleppo Governorate, along with the services institutions and Civil Defense services, started work to rehabilitate the areas of al-Jdeida and al-Talal after having been cleared of the insurgents.
