Lebanese Abductees between Miqati, Raad and Turkish Ambassador

Turkish envoy says Ankara hasn’t stopped its mediations in the case of the abductees and was doing its best to facilitate their release.

Turkish ambassador to Lebanon Inan Auzildise on Tuesday held meetings with Prime Minister Najib Miqati and then with the head of the Loyalty to the Resistance MP Mohammad Raad over the case of the Lebanese abductee who were kidnapped in Syria’s Aleppo last week.

Following the meeting, the Turkish envoy said Ankara hasn’t stopped its mediations in the case of the abductees and was doing its best to facilitate their release.

In the same context, Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi said his country was pursuing in efforts to release the kidnapped Lebanese as soon as possible. Abadi's position came during his visit to Miqati at the Grand Serail in which he delivered a written message from the Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi. Both sides emphasized on the importance of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
