Bahraini Regime Forces have reportedly tortured a pro-democracy detainee for death.

The body of Yusef Ahmed Abbas, who was reported missing last Wednesday, was found on the shores of an island in the northeast of the country.
Activists said that the regime forces brutally tortured Abbas to death in prison.

For their part, Bahraini authorities, denied the accusation as usual and said the public prosecution has commissioned a coroner to conduct a post mortem and reveal the cause of death.

Meanwhile, anti-government protesters resumed their peaceful rallies against the rule of Al Khalifa despite the repression they have been facing.

Since the beginning of the popular uprising in February 2011, dozens of people have been martyred and thousands more have been arrested and put in jail or fired from their jobs in Bahrain.

In addition, many health workers, teachers, opposition figures and human rights activists in Bahrain are still facing trial or serving prison terms over participation in anti-government demonstrations.
