AntennasAl-Manar TV Channel presented in a news report documents about the companies and individuals involved in the crime of providing illegal internet services to all the Lebanese areas.

Expressing reservations about revealing their names, Al-Manar's report mentioned that the companies lie in various Lebanese cities and towns, including al-Dawra, al-Sabteyye, al-Nabaa, al-Hamra , al-Qbayat, and Tripoli in addition to a number of northern areas.

The report added that some of those firms have obtained a legal license and operate illegally at the same time, noting that they receive the internet transmission from Mount Torbol and redirect it to the entire Lebanese areas via the public telecommunication facilities.

According to al-Manar report, all the Lebanese public institutions are exposed to the Israeli spy apparatuses, calling on the court and the competent services to detect and try the culprits.

Telecommunications Minister Boutros Harb had vowed Wednesday to hunt down illegal internet providers, saying they were linked to ‘Israel’ and thus posed a danger to Lebanon’s national security.
