On Tuesday, de Mistura said that he received the proposals on Syrian conciliation from the government delegation, and was receiving similar documents from the opposition.

The government's plan has eight points, but opposition's High Negotiations Committee (HNC) said it was unaware of the specific content of those proposals.

After his meeting with the Syrian opposition delegation at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, De Mistura "we will review all documents and consider what can be done."

The Swiss city of Geneva currently hosts proximity talks between the Syrian opposition and the government's delegation to put an end to the deadly global war on the country.
