Syria Army and Armed Forces units on Friday restored security and stability to a number of villages and established full control over a number of vantage points in Latakia’s northern countryside, in addition to eliminating a number of terrorists in Hama province with the assistance of the Syrian Air Force.
Latakia
A military source told SANA that army units restored security and stability to the villages of Haret Maz’aleh, Haret al-Tahoun, al-Qastal, and Heer Debbin in Latakia’s northern countryside.
The source added that army units also established control over al-Qal’aa mountain and points 394, 445.5, 438.5, 417.5, 400, 500, 656.6, 499.5, 409.5, and 529.5 in the province’s northern countryside.
Hama
Army and Armed Forces units eliminated 37 terrorists from al-Nusra Front (Qaeda's branch in the Levant) in the northwestern countryside of Hama province, a military source told SANA.
The source said the terrorists were eliminated while they were trying to sneak from Kafr Nabouda, al-Habbit, and Albana to Tal al-Sakhr, al-Hamamiyat, al-Maghir, and Bridej.
The source also said that the Syrian Air Force eliminated 20 terrorists from ISIL in Abu Dali, Suha, Uqairibat, Jana al-Ulbawi, Qastal al-Westani, and Jub al-Rihan in Hama’s eastern countryside.
