The Syrian army - and allied forces - managed on Wednesday to widen the secured zone of Khanaser town environs in the southeastern countryside of Aleppo.

The national military also seized full control over Shabib hills and the towns of Kharbil, Akeel, Al-Qleia' and Sarda located to the east of Khanaser.

The latest military campaign claimed a number of terrorists and left several ISIL gunmen wounded, as many of the group's mercenaries were fleeing away towards the eastern region.
