An Israeli occupation police officer was filmed tipping a disabled Palestinian out of his wheelchair as he was trying to reach a girl shot by occupation forces to give her first aid.

The video, filmed by Palestinian journalist Raed Abu Rumaila, shows the Israeli officer knocking Majed al-Fakhouri backwards and sending him sprawling into the street, as occupation forces were preventing anyone from approaching the scene.IOF Knocks Disabled Palestinian While Trying to Reach Shot Girl for Help

The incident took place moments after a 14-year-old Palestinian girl, Yasmine al-Zaru, was shot by occupation forces after allegedly trying to stab an Israeli police officer on Sunday afternoon.

The girl was shot by Israeli forces and al-Fakhouri, who lost his left leg in a car crash a decade ago, said he was trying to reach her to give her first aid.

"I saw blood coming out of her arm and side and I thought she was going to bleed to death," al-Fakhouri told The Telegraph.

"I tried to help her but a police officer stopped me and ordered me to go back. Then he turned me over and my head hit the ground."

Video shows the girl writhing in pain in the street. Israeli troops and police can be seen standing near her without providing treatment.

The incident prompted uproar among Palestinians and was widely shared on social media and also shown on Israeli television.
