Yemeni Army Fires Ballistic Missiles on Saudi Base

Yemeni sources told al-Manar that the missile unit launched two Qaher-1 missiles on Khamis Mushait base in the Saudi province of Asir.

The sources confirmed that the missiles caused casualties.

Yemen army fires missiles on Saudi baseMeanwhile, other sources said that several mercenaries hired by the US security firm, Balackwater, were killed during fierce clashes with the Yemeni army and the popular committees in Thubab district of Taiz governorate.

The sources added that among the killed, were Australian and Colombian mercenaries.

Yemen has been since March 26 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition.
Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.

Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.

However, Yemeni army, backed by the committees has been engaged in battles with Saudi-led mercenaries and Hadi’s militias in several areas across the country.
