A crowded rally was held on Saturday in front of the Nigerian embassy in Beirut to condemn the massacre that was committed by the Nigerian army against the supporters of the Islamic Movement in the city of Zaria.

The participants blamed the Zionist entity for stirring the Sunnite-Shiite strife in the Middle East and Africa and demanded the Nigerian authorities to reveal all the facts related to the crime through a transparent probe, punish all the culprits,  and release sheikh Zakzaky and the rest of the arrested, raising the photos of the group's leader.

On Monday, Nigerian troops arrested the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Ibrahim al-Zakzaky, after committing a massacre against people attending a religious ceremony in Hussainiyyah Baqeeyatullah in the northern city of Zaria.
