The October 1 shooting marked the beginning of a wave of attacks against Zionists in retaliation of the Israeli repressive measures against the Palestinians across the West Bank and especially in al-Quds. Zionist settlers backed by occupation forces have been repeatedly storming the holy al-Aqsa Mosque, sparking Palestinian anger.

The occupation army entered Nablus at around 2:00 am (0000 GMT) Thursday and blew up the second floor apartment several hours later, Palestinian police said.

On Wednesday Israel demolished the home of a Palestinian martyr who carried out a deadly car-ramming attack last year, sparking clashes in the east al-Quds neighborhood where he had lived.

Such demolitions, heavily criticized by rights groups, have regularly resulted in clashes between occupation forces and Palestinians.
