The Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday the Russian warplanes conducted Tuesday night 127 sorties against sites of terrorist organizations in Syria in the framework of its continuous air operation to fight ISIL and international terrorism that started on September 30.

Russian warplanes hit 206 terrorist targets in Syria last night, RT website quoted a source at the Russian Defense Ministry as saying.

The source added that the warplanes of the US-led international coalition launched 20 airstrikes on ISIL sites in Syria, destroying 14 positions.
