Russian President, Vladimir Putin, on Friday cabled House Speaker, Nabih Berri, paying condolences on the martyrdom of citizens in the double suicide bombing in Burj al-Barajneh.

Putin hoped that those who funded and executed this crime would receive "fair punishment," stressing that Russia is ready to cooperate with the Lebanese authorities to fight terrorism, including ISIL.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the twin blasts and expressed its hopes that the conditions to confront terrorism in Lebanon will be provided through the solidarity among the army, people and the resistance.

The Syria government considered that "this cowardly act reflects the horror of terrorism."

The Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas expressed his support to Lebanon and its people.

Several Palestinian factions also condemned the terrorist act and considered that it targets Lebanon's security and stability.

Yemen's Ansarullah politburo stressed that the terrorists schemes will fail to harm Lebanon and the resistance.

Emir of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences to Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam.

Arab League Chief, Nabil Elaraby, on Friday sternly condemned in a statement the double suicide bombing, contacting House Speaker, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.

The U.S. Embassy in Beirut robustly denounced via twitter "the horrible attack in Burj Barajneh".

The embassy extended its condolences to the families of the martyrs and wished the wounded individuals a quick recovery.

Several other international parties and public figures denounced the twin terrorist explosions, stressing the importance of confronting terrorism.
