Palestine: Unidentified Palestinian young man killed in al-KhalilA Palestinian young man was killed Sunday afternoon in Beit Aynoun neighborhood north of the occupied city of Al-Khalil in the West Bank, when the occupation forces shot him heavily for allegedly trying to carry out a stabbing operation.

"The Israeli forces opened fire towards the young man, north of Al-Khalil, and prevented ambulances from treating him, which led to his martyrdom," the Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement.

In a separate development in the occupied West Bank, three Zionist border police were injured when they were hit by a car on Sunday.

"Preliminary reports of a car ramming attack at Beit Einun. Three people at the scene apparently injured," police said in a statement, referring to a Palestinian village north of al-Khalil.

The three were members of a border police patrol at the site, the statement added. Patrol members fired at the car but the assailant escaped.

The Zionist rescue services said one of the police was "moderately injured" and other two lightly.

The martyrdom of the unidentified young man in al-Khalil brought the number of the Palestinian martyrs since the beginning of October to the 72, a quarter of them women and children.
