Iranian President Hasan Rouhani thanked the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, for acknowledging the nuclear deal struck in Vienna on July 14.

In a letter sent to the Leader on Thursday, Rouhani said the acknowledgement by Imam Khamenei of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, known as JCPOA, marked a new chapter in Iran's upward movement, IRNA news agency reported.

Earlier on Wednesday, Imam Khamenei acknowledged the approval of a bill presented by the government to the parliament about Iranian government's reciprocal and proportional reaction to the western governments in the process of implementation of the nuclear deal.

As he underlined the guidelines of the Supreme Leader about implementation of JCPOA, Rouhani reaffirmed Iranian commitment to fully implement the JCPOA with good faith.

He assured the Supreme Leader about honoring the guidelines for implementation of the deal.

The Iranian president said that the Iranian government will closely monitor reciprocity of the western governments in the process of implementing the nuclear deal and the sanctions system must no longer exist.
