20 ISIL Commanders Killed in Iraqi Warplanes’ Attack near Ramadi

Iraqi fighter jets’ operations against positions of the s-called ’Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant’ (ISIL) takfiri group near Ramadi in Anbar province, killing of at least 20 senior militant commanders and wounding others.

"The Iraqi air force bombed a gathering of the ISIL senior commanders inside a house in al-Bobali area in Khalidiya Island (23 km East of Ramadi)," Ali Dawoud said.
"The bombing resulted in the killing of 20 senior commander of ISIL, as well as causing great material and human losses," Dawoud added.
He further added that the killed ISIL commanders were planning to carry out terrorist operations during the upcoming Eid.
On Saturday, Chief of the Iraqi Federal Police Lieutenant General Raed Shaker Jawdat said that his forces' bombing of terrorists' positions in the Eastern flank of Ramadi resulted in the killing of at least 22 militants and wounding of many more.
 "The missile Battalion of the Iraqi Federal Police bombed a gathering of the ISIL Takfiri terrorists in Albu Murad area, East of Ramadi, killing 16 members of the terrorist group and wounding six others," Jawdat said.
“An ISIL commander, Maher Jamal Jazzayee, and three foreign nationals were among the killed terrorists in the police shelling, and Mohammed Jamal Jazzayee was seriously injured in the police attack,” the police chief went on to say.
Iraqi army launched a major offensive of ISIL after the terrorist organization seized the northern province of Mosul.
