Al-Aqsa: Zionist violations; Sep. 13, 2015Palestinians and the Zionist police clashed at Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem for a second straight day on Monday as the occupation police stormed the compound, threw stun grenades and fired rubber bullets in the courtyards.

Monday clashes left five Palestinians wounded, including an old man who is in critical condition.

"About 150 Zionist policemen stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem on Monday morning, using stun grenades and rubber bullets," director of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Omar Kiswani, told Anatolia news agency.

The Zionist police arrested seven worshipers who were at the gates of the roofed mosque (south of the Al-Aqsa mosque), and wounded five others, including an elderly whose injury was described as serious in his eye.

"The Israeli police closed the gates of the mosque to prevent worshipers from coming out of it," kesrouani said, adding that the troops also prevented worshipers from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque in full.

The Zionist entity seized east Jerusalem, where Al-Aqsa is located, in the Six Day War of 1967 on Palestine and later annexed it in a move never recognized by the international community.
