Saudi daily al-Jazirah reported that security services in Riyadh arrested 45 people suspected of belonging to Takfiri group, ISIL (so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Levant).

Saudi daily al-Jazirah reported that security services in Riyadh arrested 45 people suspected of belonging to Takfiri group, ISIL (so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Levant).

The daily said the arrests took place in several areas across the Saudi Kingdom in the last ten days.

Saudi Arrests 45 ISIL Suspects “Security services arrested 45 terror suspects of five nationalities,” al-Jazirah newspaper quoted security sources as saying, adding that these suspects are from Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Tobago Palestine and Egypt.

The daily meanwhile, noted that the number of terror suspects arrested by the Saudi authorities in the last 310 days reached 1740 of 20 nationalities.

Over the past few months, ISIL has expanded its terror campaign to attack Mosques in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
