Meanwhile, Saudi-led warplanes targeted the headquarters of Brigades 23 Mika in Hadramaut, killing around 40 soldiers and two officers loyal to fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, who fled to Riyadh.

Saada province was also hit by several airstrikes.

On the other hand, four civilians, including two children, were martyred when a car bomb exploded near the security administration building in al-Bayda city.

Yemen has been since March 26 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition. Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.

Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.

On Wednesday, the United Nations declared Yemen a level three emergency, the highest on its scale.
