Israeli occupation forces opened fire and killed a Palestinian teenager who was attempting to reach al-Aqsa Mosque in al-Quds (Jerusalem) to perfrom Friday Prayers in the holy month of Ramadan, Palestinian sources say.

Palestinian doctors said the 17-year-old had been shot twice and was dead on arrival to the hospital.

The killing came as thousands of Palestinians were waiting on Qalandia checkpoint to enter Al-Quds on the third Friday in the holy month of Ramadan.
