At least six people were killed and 21 others were injured in several separate explosions in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad and the eastern province of Diyala late Friday.

One person was killed and two others were injured when a bomb placed in a vehicle carrying a tribal armed group exploded in Baghdad's southern Hur Rajab area.

Another bomb attack claimed the lives of two people and injured eight others near a district bazaar in the capital's western Abu Ghraib district.

Two mortar shells that fell on Saba al-Bur area left one person dead and seven others injured.

A separate bomb blast killed two and injured four others in Diyala province’s Abu Sayda district.
