Ansarullah: Arrangements of Geneva Conference on Yemen Haven’t Been Completed

The spokesman of the Yemeni Ansarullah group said that consultations on the representation of the political components that must be involved in the Geneva conference on the Yemeni crisis have not yet been completed.

Yemen: Ansarullah spokesman, Mohammad Abdul-SalamThe spokesman of the Yemeni Ansarullah group, Mohammad Abdel-Salam said on Tuesday that consultations on the representation of the political components that must be involved in the Geneva conference on the Yemeni crisis have not yet been completed.

During his statement, Abdel-Salam pointed out that Ansarullah has not yet received clarifications from the United Nations about the arrangements necessary to conduct the conference.

The Yemeni figure recalled the position of his group which welcomes any invitation by the UN Secretary-General to call on the Yemeni political parties to participate in the Geneva conference without preconditions.

Yemen has been since March 26 under brutal aggression by Saudi-US coalition. Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.

Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
