YemenAs the Yemeni army and the popular committees advanced in the province of Aden after defeating Qaeda terrorists in many positions, the Saudi warplanes struck the residential and commercial buildings in Aden, causing human losses and destruction.

The Saudi war jets also launched air raids on Hodaida airport and al-Masirah TV office in Saada and dropped more munitions to Qaeda terrorists in the province of Taiz.

The Saudi Interior Ministry announced that a soldier was killed by a shell near Yemen border, what raises the number of the killed Saudi soldiers since March 26 to 10.

The Yemeni army, backed by the popular committees also attained major battlefield achievements in Maareb province expelling Qaeda militants from several areas.

Yemen has been since March 26 under brutal aggression by Saudi-US coalition. Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive president Abdrabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.

On April 21, Saudi Arabia declared the end of the aggression, dubbed “Decisive Strom”. However, the Saudi-led warplanes are still conducting airstrikes on several areas across Yemen.

More than 2,800 people were martyred by the Saudi aggression, most of them are civilians. Thousands more were injured.
