The Minister of Defense praised the high combat efficiency that characterizes the military forces and their ability to defeat terrorists.

Congratulating the LAF on this great achievement which is added to the previous ones, Moqbel said it proved, beyond any doubt, that it is a professional and coherent institution with solid doctrine away from the political, factional and sectarian poison.

For his part, General Qahwaji confirmed that the Army can only be victorious in the face of terrorists, praising "the continuing sacrifices made by the military elements on the eastern border to protect villages and towns adjacent to the border from the infiltration of terrorists."
