Millions of Syrians rally in various Syrian provinces in support of Al-Assad’s general amnesty decision.

Millions of Syrians gathered Tuesday in various provinces to form massive rallies in support of the comprehensive reforms proposed by Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, which included general amnesty for the crimes committed before the 20th of June 2011.

Syrian Arab News Agency SANA reported that millions of Syrians gathered in the Umayyad Square in Damascus and in Quneitra, while thousands others marched towards Dawwar Al-Barid in Daraa, adding that massive rallies were also present in Aleppo, Hama, Sweida, Lattakia, Hasaka, Tartous, Deir Ezzor, Raqaa, and Idleb.

The Syrian President has ordered Tuesday general amnesty for the crimes committed before the 20th of June 2011.

This amnesty is the 3rd ordered by the Syrian president since the beginning of the year. He has previously ordered amnesty on the 30th of May for the Muslim brotherhood and the political detainees, and another one on the 7th of March for perpetrators of offences committed before the specified date.
