At least 10 people burned to death and nine others were injured when a passenger van overturned and caught fire in southern Pakistan, officials said Monday.
  
The accident took place overnight in the southern town of Noori Abad, around 100 kilometers (60 miles) northeast of Karachi. "At least 10 people were killed in the accident, seven bodies were burnt so badly that they could not be identified," senior police official Naeem Shaikh told AFP.
  
"Three women, two children and four men were wounded, while, three passengers remained unharmed." The van was overloaded and veered off the road after suffering a burst tyre, he said.
