Yemen’s Hadi Leaves Sanaa ‘Disguised’: Ansarullah Source

Al-Manar correspondent in Yemn reported that the President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi, who resigned last month, has left the capital for main southern city of Aden.

Quoting a source in Ansarullah revolutionary movement, al-Manar correspondent said that Hadi left his house in Sanaa disguised.Yemeni president Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi

The source meanwhile, denied reports that Hadi’s house was looted, stressing that the revolutionary committees in the Ansarullah movement have been guarding the former president’s home.

On the other hand, AFP news agency confirmed the event, quoting his aide as saying:   "He managed to leave his house this morning and his way is being secured to reach Aden.”

The aide insisted that Hadi left "without an arrangement or even informing any of the political parties."

Hadi’s departure came a day after the United Nations Special Adviser on Yemen Jamal Benomar said the opposing sides in Yemen’s conflict had agreed on the formation of a democratic transitional council, which will be tasked with making efforts to end the chaos in the Arab country.

The move comes two weeks after revolutionary committees announced the constitutional declaration in a bid to fill the power vacuum in the country.

Ansarullah fighters, who are also known as Houthis, had gained control of the capital earlier in September, driving al-Qaeda-linked fighters from Sanaa.
