Earlier on Thursday, “a joint force of Army, ISF forces and General Security started the implementation of a security plan that will last for several days,” the Lebanese Army Command said in a statement issued by the Orientation Directorate.

The plan started with raids, checkpoints and patrols in various towns and villages in north Bekaa, the statement added.

Ten wanted persons were arrested on Thursday, the army said, noting that 18 stolen cars were seized.
