Iran Warns Foreign Destroyers to Leave Drill Zone

Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari told reporters on Sunday that over the past days, two destroyers belonging to foreign countries appeared in two areas of Iran's ongoing war games.

Following the warning by the Iranian forces, Rear Admiral Sayyari said, the foreign vessels were finally forced to leave the zone.

“We had already warned that no country or party is allowed to be present at the drill region due to security issues,” Islamic Republic of Iran Navy commander emphasized.

Stating that many countries noticed the warning in the early days of war game, Admiral Sayari said the two destroyers appeared in two different areas of Mohammad the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) war games and moved out of the area following the warning by the Iranian forces.

Codenamed Mohammad the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), the war game began on Thursday and is scheduled to continue until December 30.
