The Syrian army on Thursday continued tightening the noose around foreign-backed terrorist groups in several areas across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them, SANA reported.

Daraa

The army foiled a suicide terrorist’s attempt to blow himself up in a car bomb before reaching a military post in Tal al-Za’tar in the countryside of Daraa province.

Army units killed large numbers of terrorists after storming their dens in al-Fqei’, Jassim, Deir al-Adas, Dael and al-Hrak, leaving many terrorists dead and injured  in al-Sheikh Miskeen and Ebta’ in the countryside.

Other units of the armed forces destroyed a number of terrorists’ vehicles which were equipped with medium-sized machine guns and others loaded with ammunition, leaving many terrorists dead and wounded, to the north of old Customs building in Daraa al-Balad in the city.

Damascus Countryside

A unit of the armed forces destroyed a den for terrorists, killing all inside in Deir Maker in Damascus Countryside.

The Syrian army also targeted a vehicle which was transporting terrorists in Qalamoun, injuring six militants and destroying their weapons.

Homs

Units of the army and armed forces killed and injured scores of terrorists in al-Waer neighborhood, Masai’ed and Rohoum in the area of Jib al-Jarrah in the countryside of Homs central province.
