"One person killed in Ashdod explosion this evening," Zionist police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld wrote on Twitter.

He said that the motives behind the blast were "criminal".

Zionist occupation forces sealed off the scene of the blast and searched for other explosives in the area, according to Zionist Channel Two.
