Earlier, army general Martin Dempsey, chairman of the U.S. joint chiefs of staff, hold on Wednesday the Iraqi government responsible for "sectarian divisions", saying that "they (divisions) are the real problem right now."

Answering a question during a Senate panel on whether Washington is able to fight off the militants' advancement, Dempsey said that the US would have difficulty knowing who it would be attacking from the air until the intelligence picture clarified.

For his part, U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, hold the approach of Iraqi government responsible for the current crisis.

"The current government in Iraq has not fulfilled its commitments in terms of forming a government of national unity that embraces Sunnis, Kurds and Shiites."

History still recalls the U.S. illegal actions in the Middle East, and particularly in Iraq during the 8-year occupation period. Media reports talked about the sleeper cells planted by U.S., Europe and Arab intelligences to destabilize security in the Iraqi Republic.
