French Parliamentary Delegation to Visit Tehran Monday

While in Tehran, the French delegation will hold separate meetings with Iranian officials and parliamentarians

A parliamentary delegation from France is to visit Iran Tuesday, Iran state agency reported on Monday.
 
A statement by Parliament’s (Majlis) Information Center said the French delegation’s seven-day visit will take place upon an invitation by Head of the Majlis Budget and Planning Commission Gholam Reza Mesbahi Moqaddam.

While in Tehran, the French delegation will hold separate meetings with Iranian officials and parliamentarians, the statement added.

Hossein Sheikholeslam, an advisor to Iran’s Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on international affairs, said on Monday that the French 6-member team, including the head of Financial Committee of the French Parliament, are scheduled to hold talks with several Iranian lawmakers and cabinet ministers during their stay in Tehran.

The Iranian lawmaker also said a parliamentary friendship group from Romania is due to arrive in Tehran next week at the invitation of Chairman of the Iran-Romania Parliamentary Friendship Group Mohammad Mehdi Zahedi.
