The Israeli daily noted the Egyptian accusations for Hamas of stirring unrest and providing the militants with weapons.


"The Egyptian army destructed dozens of tunnels that link Gaza Strip to Egypt," it pointed out.


The Zionist army is alert on the Palestinian borders with Egypt since the Egyptian army is carrying out a military campaign against the terrorist cells in Sinai, according the Israeli newspaper.


"The Israeli army deployed the Iron Dome battery in Eilat over concerns that it may be targeted by rockets due to the Egyptian turmoil," it added.


"The Egyptian army deployed, after gaining the Israeli approval, two battalions of infantry troops, special forces contingents, armored units, and  helicopter gunships, in Rafah and al-Arish," it clarified.
